Welcome to the blog!

Hi, and thanks for checking out our new blog! We decided to create this blog so that the young women and their parents would have a way to stay up-to-date on upcoming events and activities. We will still announce everything at church, but if you aren't able to attend meetings one week (or you just need a reminder), you can check here for announcements.

- This Wednesday night (February 22), we will have a Zumba class! So dress comfortably, bring some friends, and get ready to have a great time!

- If you would like to be a part of the Service Auction to raise money for Girls' Camp, please let us know this week! Some ideas: baked good, a meal, babysitting, yard work, household chores, etc. An official sheet will be passed around the next 2 weeks for the Priesthood and Relief Society to sign up for your services!

- Don't forget that this Sunday (February 26) is Fast Sunday! It has been pushed up one week due to Stake Conference being held on the first Sunday of March.

- Wow, it's already time to register for Girls' Camp! You can find out more information about camp and register at www.hattiesburgyw.com
They have asked everyone to register by March 1st. If you have any problems finding the site, please let us know! Girls' Camp is May 29-June 2 and the cost is $100. Money is due April 1st.

- Remember, if you have any old/unwanted items, save them for our Garage Sale - a fundraiser for Girls' Camp! The garage sale will be held Saturday March 3 at 7:00 a.m. at the Bergmans' home.
If you want to receive financial compensation from such, you should plan on helping out with it, not necessarily the whole time, but we can work out a schedule of those who want to do this.

- We will have a sleepover on Friday, March 16 at the Grames' home! We will make matching pajama bottoms for girls' camp, and possibly tie-dye t-shirts as well.

- There is an upcoming Stake Priest/Laurel MTC activity on March 23/24- more info to come.

- March 24th is the General YW broadcast from Salt Lake. I believe the time is 7, but there will be more info coming on that as well.

We will continue to update and remind you of these announcments. Please let us know if you have any questions or if we made a mistake or missed anything! You can use the comment box below or call or e-mail us!

Have a great week, girls. Remember to "Stand for Truth and Righteousness!"

We love you!
